Get a job in Brussel

and join the Euro velo project !

Pour ce poste il faut évidemment parler anglais, avoir la carrure d'un chef de projet, et connaître quelque chose au réseau des véloroutes internationales. Il vous faudra aussi accepter de travailler à mi-temps, et être capable de trouver l'argent pour passer à plein temps.

Il reste deux ou trois jours pour candidater.


Career opportunity: lead the development of EuroVelo, the European cycle route network
 

The European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF), based in Brussels, is looking to appoint a Project Manager to run its EuroVelo European cycle route network programme. This position is a good opportunity to run an international project for a non-governmental organisation.

ECF is the European body working to promote the bicycle as a healthy and sustainable form of transport. Our target is to complete the EuroVelo network substantially by 2020, enabling the network to contribute to a significant modal shift from the private car to the bicycle. To reach this ambitious target you will work closely with an international team in the ECF office, a number of national coordinators from different countries and the EU institutions.

The position, which will be based in Brussels, will initially be a half time post: an early crucial task will be to identify additional resources in order to develop this position into a full-time one.

Ah bah, demander à un salarié de bosser pour trouver de quoi le payer, ça donne envie de candidater...
Est-ce révélateur du financement actuel de la promotion de vélo faite avec des bouts de ficelles, pendant que les autres lobbys à Bruxelles (pétrole, autos, avions...) vivent grassement ?
